“Sometimes the biggest accomplishment in life is to find yourself.”–Luisa Fernanda Cicero

Therapy is about helping you transition from where you currently are and together, working towards where you want to be. Everyone’s situation is different, as is their path to healing. My goal is to empower you as well as equip you with both the knowledge and skills to assist you in reaching the goals we identify throughout our sessions. I can help navigate you through your anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, constant overwhelming emotions, relationship/intimacy issues and personal growth.

As a second-generation Dominican-American, I understand and have deep empathy for the difficulties and pressure we face, especially with the lack of acceptance around the importance of mental health. I am passionate about working with diverse individuals from all cultural backgrounds and take pride in being inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at St. John’s University and continued on to receive my Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College. I have served diverse populations from emerging adulthood to adulthood in various settings; community-based organizations, non-profits and private university counseling centers.

Being a part of and seeing the life-changing growth of my clients is a true privilege; allow me to provide a safe space for you to dig deep, unpack and build a life worth living.
