“Don’t wait until you die to be reborn. Your past does not define who you are, it’s only muscle that you are building for your future.”

Therapy is about you and you have already found the motivation to take the first step and begin your search and seek out support. I truly believe that is the first critical ingredient to achieving an optimal therapeutic process; finding a therapist that feels like the right fit for you. Having navigated that process, I am dedicated to providing a safe, accepting, supportive, judgment-free zone for all clients.

Despite the BIPOC community making up the global majority, we often face disparities within our healthcare system. I am committed to providing quality, holistic, culturally competent care to survivors of trauma, race-based traumatic stress, those seeking to change generational patterns, those struggling to manage worries, fears and frustrations; parents and educators seeking to do some inner work in order to be their best selves for those depending on them, or anyone simply seeking a greater sense of self-awareness.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Counseling at Mercy College along with my post-graduate Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling at Long Island University. I currently hold my limited permit as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State as well as my permanent certification in School Counseling.

Whether the next steps of beginning therapy sound exciting or daunting to you, I am here to guide that process alongside you one step at a time.
