As a mixed race Caribbean American woman, I understand how difficult it can be to grow up with constant expectations.  These feelings of pressure or loss of confidence are very common in our community. It is my aim to help you develop skills to cope with those feelings, along with setbacks, managing stress, and anxiety. You are not alone in your journey and together we can collaborate to address what you identify as a problem or concern. 

As your therapist, I meet you where you are at and offer an empathetic and non-judgmental style to provide a comfortable environment. I recognize that every individual is unique therefore, the plan we create together will be custom fit to match your goals. I will work to ensure that you feel safe, heard, and motivated throughout this process. I look forward to being of service and helping people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as individuals in performance based fields. 

I am an Advanced Clinical Resident with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hood College and minors in African American Studies and Women and Gender Studies. I am currently obtaining a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University.
